Some people look for a beautiful place. Others make a place beautiful.

– Hazrat Inayat Khan

Right now, most of us continue to stay at home. We do not know exactly when the stay-at-home order will be lifted and it will be safe to leave our homes during this pandemic.  For some, this may bring up anxiety, thoughts of becoming stir-crazy, and sadness and grief about the people and places we cannot directly connect with at the moment.

But, this doesn’t mean that we cannot use this time to still find enjoyment and pleasure.  This week, I want to share with a list of museums, gardens, automobiles, and zoos that have online tours!  So sit back, perhaps grab a cup of coffee or tea, and enjoy the scenery.  Scroll down to find out which tours are among my favorites on this list.

Alfa Romeo Museum:  For those who know me well, you know I cannot leave out this museum.  Team Alfa here!  I was fortunate in having the opportunity to visit this museum and the Ferrari museum (below) last year while traveling through Italy. Here you can take a photo tour of the museum.

British Museum: The British Museum has always been on my must-do list when visiting London.  Check out the Rosetta Stone and Egyptian mummies

Ferrari Museum: I must admit, this is a favorite museum of mine.  I was fortunate in having had the opportunity to visit both Ferrari museums in Modena and Maranello, Italy, last year.  The Modena museum is spectacular.  Not only are the cars beautiful, but the architecture and design of the museum were impressive.  This museum is on the top of my all-time museum list.

New York Botanical Garden: As an orchid collector and grower, this a stunning tour of their orchid garden!

Sigmund Freud Museum:  This should not be a surprise on my list!  It has been 15 years since I’ve been to this museum and I had planned to visit again this May.  Of course, those plans are on hold and for the time being, so I will visiting it online. This virtual tour allows you to explore the house in London where Freud lived with his family during the last year of his life.
